Personal Responsibility Statement: The historic Gillioz prides itself on offering a diverse selection of arts entertainment. Not all productions may appeal to or be appropriate for every person or for all ages. Patrons are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the shows we offer in order to make informed decisions prior to purchasing tickets.
Where is the Box Office or “Will Call” at Gillioz Theatre?
The Box Office and Will Call are located directly outside the theatre’s front entrance on Park Central East street. The Box Office is open Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Will call opens at least one hour before the show. Tickets can be purchased at the box office, by phone at 417-863-9491 or online at www.gillioz.org. The box office will open 15 minutes prior to on sale times when shows go on sale.
What is your policy on refunds?
Standard theatre policy is that all ticket purchases are final. Once the tickets have been purchased, they can not be returned for a refund or exchanged for better seats. If a show is cancelled or rescheduled, different circumstances may apply.
Where are my seats located?
Your ticket will have a row (letter) and corresponding seat number that you can reference by clicking here to view our seating chart to see exactly where your seat(s) are located.
What does General Admission mean?
If you purchased a GA ticket, you did not purchase an assigned seat. At a general admission show, seating/standing room is first come first serve. For a GA show, the row and seat number listed on your ticket are for filing purposes in our ticketing system.
What do I do if I lose my tickets?
With proof of purchase and a picture ID, we will re-print tickets at the box office. Purchasers requiring ticket re-printing will incur a $5 fee.
Buying Tickets From a Third Party
Tickets should not be purchased from a third party website like Vivid Seats, Box Office Ticket Sales, or StubHub. The Gillioz can not authenticate tickets purchased from a third-party vendor. If you purchase tickets with the intent to resell them, you are subject to your tickets being void and receiving no refund. Tickets should only be purchased from the theatre’s website/authorized ticketing company or outlets.
Is the Theatre handicapped accessible?
We will accommodate anyone with special medical needs to the best of our abilities. We do have handicap seating available by request for every show but you must call 417-863-9491 to reserve them.
Does my child need a ticket?
Unless otherwise stated, All guests at the theatre for a ticketed event are required to have a ticket.
How do I find out who’s coming to play at the Gillioz?
There are many ways to stay up to date with events coming to the theatre. The most frequently updated sources for information include our Facebook and Twitter accounts, followed by our website, and we highly suggest signing up for our newsletter to find out about shows as soon as we announce them and to retrieve special pre-sale offers.
What time do the doors open?
Unless otherwise stated, doors for every show will open one hour before showtime.
Where can I park?
The Gillioz does not have a designated parking area. There are over 6,000 parking spaces located within walking distance of downtown Springfield, MO including 2 garages located one block away on McDaniel and four FREE Lots on Olive just north of the theatre. I am interested in renting the theatre for my own event, who do I talk to?

Who do I contact about lost and found?
If you believe you have lost something in the theatre please call 417-863-9491 or email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
What forms of payment do you take?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express for tickets and at our refreshment centers.
What is the seating capacity of the Gillioz?
1015 for seated shows, and 1300 for GA.
Does the Gillioz allow re-entry to shows?
Yes, but you must show your ticket for reentry.
May I bring recording equipment (video or audio) or a camera with me to the show?
Unless otherwise stated, cameras, video and audio recording equipment are not allowed inside the theatre.
What types of food and drinks are offered at the Gillioz?
We have a variety of candy and soda as well as alcoholic beverages.
Where are the restrooms located?
The restrooms are located in the shared lobby just outside the final set of doors to enter the theatre.
I am coming from out of town, how do I get to your theatre?
The Gillioz is located in downtown Springfield, MO. Our address is 325 Park Central East. For a list of directions varying from which way you are coming click here.
All events are subject to security searches. Including but not limited to: Metal detection and bag search. The following items are not permitted: Firearms, Knives, Fireworks, Selfie Sticks, Sharpies/Markers, Glow Sticks, Sign, Go-Pros. ALL BAGS ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH. SECURITY WANDING WILL TAKE PLACE. We do not allow signs, face masks, or full face paint inside the theatre. E-Cigs are allowed inside, but can not be used inside the building. If a patron decides to use their E-Cig inside the building, they will receive one warning before being removed from the theatre. Venue reserves the right to modify security policies at their discretion.
