Gillioz Theatre Historic Tour
Celebrate the Gillioz Theatre’s Centennial by stepping inside nearly 100 years of history in the heart of Downtown Springfield. From its 1926 grand opening to its place along Historic Route 66, the Gillioz has been a landmark for entertainment and community memories.
This 75-minute guided tour takes you through the theatre’s historic spaces while sharing the story of how it came to be one of Springfield’s most treasured spaces.
*PLEASE NOTE: Stairs are required during the tour, and there is no elevator access available

Group Tours
Private tours may be scheduled for groups of 8 or more by calling 417-863-9491 or emailing info@gillioz.org to coordinate availability.
Tour Reminders
- Tours are approximately 75 minutes in length.
- Stairs are required during the tour.
- There is no elevator access available.
- Ticket holders must arrive 15 minutes before the start time.
- Each tour requires a minimum of 4 attendees. If fewer than 4 guests are registered, the tour will be canceled, and all orders will be automatically refunded. Cancellations due to minimum attendance will be determined two business days prior by noon.
