In conjunction with the release of their newest album on June 12th, The Boxmasters will follow by kicking off a tour of the United States in June. This marks their 21st release as the ever-prolific J.D. Andrew and Bud Thornton showcase their love as always for the sounds of the sixties and the inspiration of their heroes on an album of called ‘In The Bay.’ Says Bud in regard to the album. “’In The Bay’ is our 21st release for The Boxmasters. Songs were all inspired by and either written or partially written in the small beach town of Morro Bay, California. It’s a slight departure from our Abbey Road influenced album ‘Pepper Tree Hill,’ but is still in the same wheelhouse. ‘In The Bay’ has a strong Brian Wilson influence in the way the instrumentation is used. It is our humble attempt at making our ‘Pet Sounds’. We’re certainly not The Beatles or The Beach Boys, no one will ever be, but those heroes continue to inspire us.” “When we started this album, we had the general idea that we were going to make one of our more Sixties pop influenced albums. The songs came very easy and are based on Bud’s time spent on the central coast of California when he was spending time with his daughter at college. But what we didn’t realize until we spent time listening to the rough mixes on the bus during last years tour was that we were paying more homage to our heroes The Beach Boys than we had ever done. We didn’t intend to make a Beach Boys style record, but when their influence runs so deep through us it just happens” Says J.D. Joining Bud and J.D. on piano on a couple of songs is Teddy Andreadis who has been a longtime collaborator and band member since Bud’s first major label release “Private Radio.” Notably, Teddy plays the “wind-up” piano on the song “The Swift” which was a production technique popularized by The Beatles’ producer George Martin. It involves recording a part on the tape machine at half speed and then playing it back at full speed to give it a “Chipmunky” effect. Formed in 2006, The Boxmasters have recorded an impressive and diverse catalogue of music that touches on their love of a wide array of influences, but most importantly, the rock and roll of the 1960’s. Listening to The Boxmasters, one can hear obvious odes to the Beatles, Byrds and Beach Boys, but also important to The Boxmasters are The Mothers of Invention, The Allman Brothers, Kris Kristofferson, John Prine and Big Star. ______________________________ If you or a member of your party requires ADA seating, please call 417-863-9491 to reserve your seats. In 2025 The Wallflowers supported Eric Clapton on his US tour as they have done in the past for him as well as the supporting performances for the Who and The Rolling Stones. ___________________________________________________________________ If you or a member of your party requires ADA seating, please call us at 417-863-9491 to reserve your seats.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Becky Robinson is an LA-based comedian, writer, actor, and voice-over star that has gone from viral sensation to a sold-out theater act. You may also know her as the “Entitled Housewife”, the outspoken viral golf character Becky created who co-starred in the two virtual comedy variety specials she self-produced to help spread laughter during the yearlong pandemic. Becky’s explosively unique character antics and viral videos have racked up millions of views across social media and garnered fans across the country (and the country clubs!). In 2022, she released the original song ‘Mama Needs a Claw’ that can be heard on the radio or any major streaming service. Today, the comedian is on her highly anticipated The Beasts In Me Tour. She continues to sell-out around the world with her related comedy. In addition to touring internationally as a stand-up comedian, Deadline included Becky in their “The Future Of Funny: 15 Comedians To Watch In 2025.” She was previously named a JFL Montreal New Face of Comedy where her stand-out multi-character performance landed her a sketch show development deal and a number of voiceover jobs with DreamWorks, Nickelodeon and Netflix. In her explosive debut stand-up special, ENTITLED, Becky Robinson comes in hot with her signature high-energy comedy. She dives into the chaos of coming out as a lesbian during the pandemic, the pitfalls of being way too friendly as an adult, and her unapologetic love for Taco Bell. But the night wouldn't be complete without a full-blown appearance from her iconic character, the Entitled Housewife, who crashes the stage to dish about Trish, the gieurlz, Macabee, Dashell and, of course, SCOTT!!! As a writer, Becky has written for Comedy Central’s Not Safe, Snoop Dogg’s Joker’s Wild and FunnyOrDie. For more information on Becky’s tour and projects go-to: www.beckyrobinsonthegreat.com. __________________________ If you or a member of your party requires ADA seating, please call us at 417-863-9491 to reserve your seats.
Benjamin Tod with support from Colton Bowlin Benjamin Tod Titled Shooting Star, the album carves a fresh creative path for Tod, a storied singer-songwriter and frontman of Lost Dog Street Band. The self-proclaimed “proprietor of misery,” Tod finds himself transcending into a life of gratitude, patience, and stability. For this latest solo endeavor, Tod tapped some of Nashville’s finest to conjure country gold. Shifting from his signature somber tone of struggle and survival, Tod and his coal fire throat radiate a feeling of clarity and new beginnings in the face of adversity. The result is this intrinsic, musical crossroads — more Hank Williams than Bob Wills, more Marty Stuart than George Jones. With a thick thread of honkytonk woven into it, the album leaves fingerprints on seemingly every style of country, from outlaw to red dirt, folk to indie, the culmination of which being a happily welcomed challenge for Tod — the ethos of his life and career at this juncture howling loudly “obstacles are opportunities.” “I want to make music that helps people on a personal basis, to work through their own trauma and problems, to better serve their families, themselves, and their communities,” Tod says. “As a society, we need to reform back to our spirit. And my intent is to direct people back to their spirit — mind, body, and soul.” In reflection of the long, arduous road to where he firmly stands today, Tod acknowledges his whirlwind, volatile past. But, the troubadour does so with pure intent, pushing headlong into this unwritten chapter of possibility and purpose. Colton Bowlin Hailing from the small Appalachian town of Albany, KY, Colton Bowlin is a rising voice in country music. Deeply rooted in tradition, Colton draws inspiration from legendary country greats while staying grounded in his heritage. Growing up, he spent his days working at his late grandfather's feed mill in rural Kentucky—a testament to his hardworking roots and small-town values. Recently, Colton independently produced and recorded his latest music, showcasing his authentic sound and dedication to the craft. With raw talent and a genuine love for storytelling, Colton Bowlin is a name to watch in the country music scene. ________________________________________________ If you or a member of your party requires ADA seating, please call us at 417-863-9491 to reserve your seats.
