The Gillioz is a historic venue built in 1926. As a result of this, the seating in the balcony is closer together than the seating in the orchestra section. If you or a member of your party is tall and require more leg room, we would advise purchasing tickets in the orchestra section.
Student Tickets are $6 with a valid ID (available at the door only)
Children 11-under=free admission.
Join us for the Springfield premiere of Sibelius’ final Symphony No. 7, a beautiful and valedictory landmark of the romantic literature. We’ll also be welcoming tenor saxophonist Stephen Jones and drummer John Kizilarmut for the regional premiere of John Psathas’ Omnifenix, a fascinating and hard-rocking hybrid of jazz and orchestral styles! Gershwin’s Cuban Overture and a new work by local jazz artist Tina Claussen complete the evening’s program.
